The Shoppes at Chino Hills is the open-air center that doubles as the city's town square — shops and restaurants around a fountain plaza, a movie theatre, a seasonal farmers market, and most of the community events on the calendar. Here's what's actually there and how locals use it.
The anchor of town
The Shoppes is Chino Hills' de facto downtown: an open-air, Mediterranean-style center at Peyton Drive and Grand Avenue with roughly 60 shops and restaurants arranged around Trevi Lane and a central fountain plaza. Barnes & Noble, Trader Joe's and a full-size Harkins Theatres do most of the heavy lifting.
The fountain & Trevi Lane
The fountain plaza is where the city actually gathers — kids running the water jets on summer evenings, the tree lighting in December, and live music on weekend nights. Trevi Lane is the pedestrian spine, closed to cars and lined with patios.

13920 City Center Drive, off Peyton Drive between Grand Avenue and Chino Hills Parkway, 91709. The Chino Hills Government Center and library are directly across the street, and Chino Hills Community Park is a five-minute drive north.
Planning a visit
Weekday afternoons are quiet and parking is easy. Friday and Saturday nights fill up around the theatre and the restaurant patios. The farmers market runs on the plaza during the season, and holiday weekends bring the biggest crowds of the year.
Getting there & parking
From SR-71, exit Grand Avenue and head west to Peyton Drive; from SR-60 take Grand Avenue south through Diamond Bar. Parking is free in surface lots and the structure off City Center Drive — the structure is the reliable choice on a Friday night, when the lots nearest the theatre fill first.
Ontario International Airport is about 20 minutes out via SR-71 and I-10; John Wayne is roughly 40 minutes down SR-91. There is no rail stop in Chino Hills — the nearest Metrolink stations are Industry on the Riverside Line and Pomona on the San Bernardino Line.
